Living Out Loud

OCTOBER 27, 2018
10 am to 3 pm

Bayview School, 5611 Bayview Road, Langley, WA 98260

Join me, Charlene Ray, (counselor, mentor, teacher and soul spark igniter), for a juicy and inspirational day of joyful exploration of your heart’s desire.

Have you been living small? Allowing fear and self-doubt to hold you back? Experiencing creative blocks? Feeling ready to live out loud, but not sure what steps to take or need a boost to take them?

Come and spend the day in reflection, meditation and exploring yourself in Nature, with a poetry and soul collage. We will have time for sharing and quiet reflection.

We'll explore the place where your longing and passion meet what the world needs, and creatively plan how to bring your passions to life. By the end of this experiential workshop, you will be ready to step into your life in a new and powerful way! It will be a deep dive into your own wisdom, and it will be FUN!

"If you ask me what I came to do in this world, I, an artist, will answer you: I am here to live out loUD.”

Program

What does it mean to live out loud? When I read the quote by Emile Zola, I think of being seen, making myself visible in the world by first understanding who I am and what I have to come to do in this world, and then by doing whatever it takes to get out there and do it. In some ways it sounds simple, but it can be complex and take great courage to do. I love teaching this workshop! I taught a version of it called “Listen to the Longing” earlier this year. It is about listening to the longing of the soul, and then stepping out into the world to live that longing. This workshop goes one step further and asks you to be loud about it. Get out there and play the game of life full on. What do you have to lose? It’s the only life you have to live.

Prepare for your journey

Once you sign up for Living Out Loud, pay attention to everything that is happening in your life for all of it is part of the journey. You may wish to keep a journal to track ideas and dreams leading up to the workshop. Please bring a journal, water bottle, lunch, snacks, magazines for collage, and any personal art materials like pens and colored pencils that you may want to use. This will be a day to dive deep and surface with a vision and some action steps for going forward.
