Find Your Word for 2019

Sunday January 6th, 2019
1 pm to 4 pm

Bayview School, 5611 Bayview Road, Langley, WA 98260

You are invited to spend an afternoon reflecting on the year past and perhaps the word you chose for 2018, then we will play with words, divination and collage to create a powerful intention for 2019 by choosing a word as a guide.

This is a creative, FUN, and wonderful way to start the year! I hope you will join me!

Program

For the past 7 years I have been choosing a word for the year and it is always surprising, powerful and even mind blowing, it has transformed my life. It is so much better than new year resolutions!

In this three hour workshop you will be introduced to the power of choosing a word for the year. With the help of a brief guided meditation, a short walk in Nature, journal questions and collage, you will emerge from the afternoon with a word to guide you through 2019.

Prepare for your journey

Once you sign up for the workshop the journey of discovery begins. You are invited to start keeping a word list on your phone or in a journal. Notice what words are alluring and capture your attention and add them to the list during the month of December. Begin collecting images that interest you and grab your attention.

Mid-December I will be sending you reflection questions to ponder to help you prepare for the start of the year and this workshop.

You are invited to bring magazines and images for the collage process. Bring your journal, a snack, a water bottle and appropriate gear for the weather. (we will be outside for about 15-20 minutes)
